Our activated carbon, also called activated charcoal, is made of renewable, superior-grade coconut shells that have been activated to offer very high surface area and extensive microporous structure for maximum adsorption of gaseous pollutants, water contaminants and gold cyanide complexes. Our activated carbon is also significantly harder, lower in ash and more resistant to abrasion than similar grades of coal-based rbons.
